Felipe Calderon 2% tax on food and medicines for 2010

I live in Mexico City, and I didn't had any knowledge that they were community restaurants. It's a pity that local media hasn't made of the knowledge of many. The Mexican economy will not recover any time soon, due to the terrible economic policies taken by the federal government. Felipe Calderon has propose to charge a 2% tax on food and medicine, and he has called it a tax "to fight against poverty". So I guess if this tax is approved by the Congress, then we will need more of these community restaurant, because there will be more people unable to afford to eat.
