20 people were released yesterday. But another 30 were arrested in a range of swoops in the West Bank. A number of organisers of the peaceful demonstrations at Jayouss and Be'lin are now also behind bars since a few days, although I have yet to hear of any specific charges against Mohammad Othman. Does anyone know? Meanwhile, Shalit is still in captivity. No one is doing anyone any favours in this exchange if it takes place. It's only real impact will be symbolic.
