Afghanistan: "Find the bastard and kill him" says UK

In today’s international press review, we look at Britain’s reaction to the death of five of its soldiers, allegedly killed by a rogue Afghan policeman.

British tabloids are not mincing their words, following the death of five British troops, reportedly killed by a rogue Afghan policeman.
“Find the bastard and kill him”, says The Daily Star. According to the paper, the men were “slaughtered as they drank tea at a check point” in the Helmand Province.
We also look at the Daily Telegraph and the Independent. The latter interviewed a senior British soldier, who says he was not surprised when he heard the news. “Most of the Afghan Police are corrupt and stoned on opium”, he claims.

In other news, German newspapers mostly report on General Motors calling off the deal to sell Opel.

In China meanwhile, Barack Obama’s half brother reveals information about their father.

And finally, the world’s first cat has reportedly caught swine flu.
