People have to be aware of the fact that wearing the Burga is a choice and is used out of context by both sides. As it has been mentioned, it is political issue and not a religious issue.
The laws that are discussed to be passed should address violence against women if they choose to be open and not wear the Burga and to ban the Burqa!!! As women has the right to wear whatever they want - short, long, tight,etc., it seems that they should have the right to wear the Burqa.
The violence exist because of the violent people losing control over what they used to be accustomed to within their subculture and the last resort to them seems to be violence. These people should be banned, deported, if not punished!
