In today’s international press review, we look at the press’ reaction towards Silvio Berlusconi’s attack over the week-end.

Silvio Berlusconi is on the front page of many world newspapers this morning, including the American, British and French press.

The Italian newspaper Il Giornale describes the attack as a “Constituational violence”

He paper interviewed various politicians, mostly supporters of Il Cavaliere, who say the incident was an “act of terrorism”.

La Repubblica a portrait of Massimo Tartaglia, the man who hit Berlusconi with a small statue.

Meanwhile on the web, the incident went viral. Only four hours after the incident, video games emerged online, where people can throw miniature monuments at Berlusconi.

Meanwhile, the Times of India reports about climate change. The article says that if an agreement to prevent global warming is not reached, India could be “isolated and blamed for”.

The China Daily reports that Wen Jiabao is on a “marathon phone diplomacy”, a few days before he flies to Copenhagen.
