Rome to host Grand Prix in 2012
Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone has confirmed a seven-year deal to stage a Grand Prix in the streets of the Italian capital starting in 2012.

Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone has signed a seven-year deal with race organiser Maurizio Flammini to make Rome a new Grand Prix venue as of 2012.
"The agreement with...Bernie Ecclestone to bring the Rome GP to life is done and signed," Flammini was quoted as saying by Italian media.
The deal, which will bring motor sport's biggest event onto the streets of the Eternal City, was also confirmed by Ecclestone in the British press.
