Yemen: Al Qaeda's Safe Haven? (2nd part)

Yemen, in the south-west of the Arabian peninsula, has become Al Qaeda’s new sanctuary. Two recent events have thrust this into the forefront of international debate: the shooting in the American military base of Fort Hood and the failed terrorist attempt aboard a flight to Detroit, the responsibility of which was claimed by Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula(AQAP).
