President re-emerges after seven-week absence

l strongly belive that nigeria needs a leader and not a ruler because the rulers has ruled nigeria in to hail we supposed to show the rest of african countries the way of life.but they are laughing at this great country nigeria.we realy neen a leader not a ruler.

Government promised to transfer our accummulated pension from NSITF through Pension Commission, to our choice private funds administrators after 5 years. Time up. When is government transfering our monies?

My thinking is that our dear PRESIDENT is so weighed down with this illness that he has forgotten that he is a President of a country; otherwise, our president is an honourable man who would'nt let the country to drift.I sincerely wish him fast recovery.

I wish the president quick recovery,v.p.is authomatically handling the affairs of the country,what is all noises about.

This looks to me like a comedy that makes people cry instead of laugh. The situation could be interpreted to mean that the President and all around him don't understand, nor practise rule of law as porpoted. They should follow what is right and swear-in the vicepresident as acting president so that the nation can move forward. They are making it look like the whole nation should wait and rot while the president recouperates- very laughable and painful.

I wonder how the ailing president would atleast make one out of the 7points agenda possible with the remaining period of his tenure.

Perhaps this would teach those in the top positions in this country a lesson thta they should do good things to their country.Supposing there is a good hospital with adequate facilities to cater for such ailment as Acute Pericardities there won't be any need to take the president out of this country.Can you imagine president Barrack Obama to be brought to this country for heaqlth treatment when it is not spiritual consultation he needs.

Its very regrettable that a country I call mine cannot boast of intelligent,conscientious and just leaders but instead criminals saddled with the responsibility of wrecklessly looting the treasury with unprecedented impunity at the expense of the poor citizens with whose mandate they operate.How pathetic.Not one honest person in the National Assembly,Cabinet Ministers or Federal Executive Council but greedy individuals utilising this vacuum as a means to strap themselves to power for their selfish gains by manipulating the polity. Nigeria is a great and cannot manage to function properly without a president esp for a long time.So many thing has gone out of control because of the absence of Mr President.For example the Niger Delta militant has threatened to resume fresh war in the oil rich area.The jos crisis has also remained unabated and several other issues that demands urgent intervention of Mr President.I Nigerians pray to God Almighty for his quick recovery.I also advice him to quickly handover to Mr vice president to act as the acting President for the purposes of national interest and progress spending when he recovers fully to resume his office.Thanks.

It's about time that the world wake up and find a 'peaceful' means of getting the so called Nigeria back to the 1914 boarders, to allow the true independence to take place.

If any world community thinks it can allow its country to go without HEAD for so long and counting while hypocrites and criminal gangs takes charge, then they can keep quiet, but for those countries that will not accept such and those who believes that such is a final nail on a coffin of a NO STATE, should rise now and speak out!!

What remains unraffled is the status quo of the section of the constitution,is it voluntary or obligatory for the President to communicate to the assembly in writting? If the latter is the answer then Yar Adua should be questioned accordingly.
