Haiti: a man-made disaster?

The earthquake that shattered Port-au-Prince on Tuesday adds yet another layer of distress to the accumulated misery of a people devastated by repeated natural disasters, ingrained corruption, and a succession of dictatorial rulers. Just two years ago, a series of hurricanes and food price riots crippled reform efforts. Yet, since then, progress had been made. Was it all in vain?

There must be an evaluation of the areas which require medical, food and shelter. The degrees of these needs first. Then start planning your lines of communications in order to keep track of the dispertion of the relief.

Corruption in Haiti

The government is senseless about the poor, when help comes from
different parts of the world, between themselves they share. Most of them have four women, each has a car and a house in general lives lavishly. The corruption has crippled Haiti from
Duvalier to Preval. We are living on 21st century, no effort
has been to correct the problems, I am 53 years old, I never recalled we have water and electricity. God hears the poor, he will answer their prayers. We do not that kind of government, ask Mr. Preval to give you the budget for 2010. Nothing.

Please US and others unite to help the poors, they need help.
