Unemployment plagues Europe

Unemployment has risen sharply across the Union as the financial crisis has bitten deeper into the European economy. It now affects 22 million Europeans. There are however big differences among the member states. Ria OOMEN RUIJTEN (a Dutch MEP) and Juan Fernando LOPEZ AGUILAR (a Spanish MEP) share their views on this problem.
