Corsica migrants seek asylum in France

It was the biggest known mass-landing of immigrants in Corsica. Many of the 123 Syrian Kurds who arrived on the island on Friday have now filed for asylum, saying their lives will be at risk if they return home. French President Nicolas Sarkozy says genuine political refugees will be welcomed - but others will be deported.
