A global summit in London today will look at ways to boost military training and aid to Yemen, the world's poorest Arab state and one dogged by civil conflict and deepening economic crisis. International concern about Yemen has rocketed since it emerged that a man accused of trying to blow up a US airliner on Christmas Day had been trained by Al-Qaeda in Yemen.
