Retirement: does it all add up?

With more of us starting work later and growing older, there is a growing hole in the pensions pot. So will we face a retirement of destitution, where pensions are too little to meet our needs, or are these fears exaggerated? Or will we instead all be working until we drop?

That’s the scenario for our debate with Mark Owen and his guests:

Monika QUEISSER, Head of the Social Policy Division at the OECD
Antoine BOZIO, Senior Research Economist, at the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) and Teaching Fellow at University College London (UCL) (via satellite from London)
Dr David WEIR, Director of the Health and Retirement Study at the University of Michigan (by phone from Detroit)

Programme prepared by Aurélien Aeberhard, Charlotte Oberti and Bilal Tarabey.
