Brigitte Bardot slams French politician in row over his memoirs

Brigitte Bardot doesn’t mince her words! She has called Patrick Balkany “un gros plouc menteur” or “a big hillbilly liar”, the UMP Party stalwarth, suggested in his memoirs that he once had a love affair with the veteran French actress.

 

The French papers are particularly “French” this morning with love affairs and phallic gherkins making the front pages! Libération features a gastronomic guide to Valentine’s Day on its front page but the photo wouldn’t be…to all tastes. Take a look. Zo French!
 
Meanwhile on the front page of Le Parisien / Aujourd’hui en France, Brigitte Bardot hits out at the UMP politician Patrick Balkany who has suggested in his memoirs that he and the famous French actress may once have had a love affair. Bardot has called Balkany “a big hillbilly lair of a rare vulgarity”. She says she knows who she has and hasn’t slept with and the list does not include Patrick Balkany!
