Togo election: a new start?

It's a narrow strip of land on Africa's west coast. But Togo is notorious for its election violence, decades of human rights abuses and poor governance. Ruled by General Gnassingbe Eyadema for 38 years, it's been led by the strongman's son, Faure Gnassingbe since 2005. He is seeking a second term today, vowing to raise Togo to new heights.
