Today in culture, Eve Jackson speaks to one of India's top bestselling authors. Shobha De is a scribe, a socialite, a celebrity, a former beauty queen and a columnist. She has more than a dozen books to her name. But the India she knows and writes about is a far cry from the India pictured by most writers, that of urban poverty or quaint village life. One of her early books is called 'Starry Nights' and it's coming out in France this month.
