In Kyrgyzstan, the opposition has announced a government takeover and scores have been left dead after violent protests in the past couple of days. The Boston Globe’s “Big Picture” section shows 38 different photos that provide a sense of what has happening in the Central Asian state. Several photos show the police being beaten and dragged through the streets or jumping over walls in order to escape protestors.
