US oil spill: need to revise drilling policy?

The timing of one of the worst environmental disasters in US History could not have been worse for President Barack Obama, one month after his government unveiled a new energy bill. Meanwhile, the price of dealing with the slick could rival that of the 1989 Exxon Valdez spill in Alaska, which topped 6.5 billion euros in clean-up and legal costs.

Presented by Robert Parsons.

Produced by Claire Brown and Antonio Oliveira e Silva.
