Traders: will they ever change?

Jerome Kerviel, the trader of Société Générale accused of provoking 5 billion Euros in losses, claims in his book that his bosses knew what he was doing. Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, banking behemoth Goldman Sachs is accused of engineering a trading mechanism whereby one of its rich clients would win the jackpot, while the others would loose. Was this the fault of rogue traders or are their hierarchies also to blame?

Presented by Marc Perelman.

Produced by Antonio Oliveira e Silva and Aurélien Aeberhard.
