Greek workers join forces this Wednesday to shut down the country in protest at austerity measures planned by the government. Anger and fear are now constant partners among ordinary Greeks as Prime Minister George Papandreou warns his country to prepare for the worst. But union leaders say that austerity measures target the most vulnerable in Greek society, such as low-paid workers.
