Bangkok burns as the Red Shirts' stand-off continues

The siege of Bangkok continues in Thailand, as Red Shirt protestors set fire to more than two dozen buildings. An Italian journalist was killed in the violence on Wednesday and the international community has called on the country to end the unrest. Demonstrators are continuing to demand that Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva to step down and call fresh elections, saying his premiership is illegitimate.
