French pension reform: the moment of truth

After weeks of internal discussions, the government is unveiling its proposals to reform the pension system. One of the key measures is to push back the legal age of retirement, which currently stands at 60. Tomorrow, the unions are calling for mass demonstrations and a strike. So is this high noon for the government and president Sarkozy?
