Friends once more? France and Rwanda on the slow path to reconciliation
After years of hostile relations, France and Rwanda are trying to build some bridges. There's still a lot of work to do, but the hopeful reopening of the Franco-Rwandan Cultural Centre would prove a promising start. The building has long symbolised the state of friendship between the two; after falling into a state of disrepair, it could soon be on its way back to its former glory.
