“Israel lost at sea” (Haaretz)

The Israeli press is divided this morning over yesterday’s botched assault on a flotilla carrying aid to the Gaza Strip. Some defend the IDF’s actions while others say it calls Israel’s entire strategy in Gaza into question. “The siege is becoming Israel’s Vietnam,” says Bradley Burnston in the left-leaning daily Ha’aretz.
