Israel spoof video on flotilla causes controversy

In today’s international papers, we look at an Israeli spoof video of “We are the World” which has drawn widespread criticism with the Government being forced to apologise. Other topics covered include Turkey’s changing diplomacy, Nadal’s victory at the French Open, how the oil spill has affected the brown pelican, Louisiana’s state symbol and finally a porn scandal in Ireland! MONDAY, 7th JUNE 2010

The front page of the British paper The Independent features a stark photo: the brown pelican is Louisiana’s state symbol, and now the inevitable symbol of the oil spill.
