The Franco-German engine is still working, or at least, that's the impression the leaders of the two countries tried to make at a meeting in Berlin yesterday. Commentators had spoken of a historic low in relations, especially when Chancellor Angela Merkel abruptly cancelled talks with President Nicolas Sarkozy last week. But in the Berlin, they said they were speaking with one voice on the eurozone...
