The ever popular French :-)

The retirement age in Germany is expected to be raised to 67, so that Germans can work longer to bail out France and the French who demand a 35-hour working week, and a retirement at 60, but might be persuaded to work until 62. Germans must wonder if this is France's way of implementing a rolling war reparations programme, since the French justify their position by citing the hard labour required to stoke steam locomotives with coal, and have established the School of Economic War (Ecole de guerre économique), in Paris.
