Sudan closes border with Libya

Sudan closed its border crossings with Libya on Thursday, amid increased tensions between Khartoum and Tripoli. Sudanese president Omar Al beshir is angry that his Libyan counterpart Moamer Kadhafi has agreed to harbour a rebel wanted by Sudan. Khalil Ibrahim heads Darfurs Justice and equality movement, which suspended Qataari-brokered peace talks with Khartoum in May.
