Bronislaw Komorowski has won the Polish presidential election. His victory will give the country's ruling Civic Platform party the chance to govern without the obstacle of a hostile president. With parliamentary elections scheduled for late 2011, Komorowski and Prime Minister Donald Tusk have a year to show the country whether they can tackle major economic problems, such as high debt and unemployment.
