We look at Steven Soderbergh's Liberace biopic "Behind the Candelabra", starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon. Also on the show: Palestinian filmmaker Hany Abu-Assad on his new film "Omar", hope in the Middle East and Cannes.
We check out French director Guillaume Canet's English language debut "Blood Ties", starring Marion Cotillard and Clive Owen. Also, Eve Jackson meets "Borgman" director Alex Van Warmerdam, whose film is the first Dutch competition entry in 38 years. Today we wish happy birthday to Indian cinema! Eve Jackson speaks to the directors Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap, who have come together to make the anthology film Bombay Talkies, plus a Cannes day in the life of an Indian superstar.
