On the 14th of July, as a major public holiday here in France, the nation commemorates the storming of the bastille, the beginning of the end of the monarchy and the founding of a free, united country. What's particular this year is the march of the armies from 13 former French colonies in Sub Saharan Africa. So what message is President Sarkozy sending to Africa and the rest of the world?
