This past week, France has rediscovered the Nicolas Sarkozy of old, the one who used the springboard of the interior ministry to a successful run for president on a law-and-order ticket. Left-leaning Libération headlines that the government's "upping the ante on law and order" and calls it "a rightist drift." So why is the president talking tough?
