In Buenos Aires country clubs are not a place to relax and maybe play a game of golf or two. Rather, they are gated communities with fences and barbed wire designed to keep out everyone except residents. As a response to increasing violence in the city members of these communities feel that this is the only way to ensure their safety and the safety of their families.
