Why haven’t they resigned?

Libération asks why ministers in Sarkozy’s government brought in from left-leaning parties, such as Foreign Affairs Minister Bernard Kouchner, didn’t threaten to resign because of the deportation of the Roma. The paper suggests that some ministers are more attached to their positions of power than to their principles. TUESDAY, 31st AUGUST 2010
