New Monet retrospective in Paris expected to draw record crowds

The most complete retrospective of Claude Monet since 1980 opens today at Paris's Grand Palais. New lighting methods and arrangements are intended to cast Monet as a 'difficult painter' as well as a 'reassuring one', as he is commonly associated.
