Who’s lying?

FRENCH PAPERS, Friday, 24th Sept. 2010: The Government says less than a million people took to the streets yesterday to protest against retirement reform while unions claim that the emblematic figure of three million protestors was reached. Who’s telling the truth? Never before in France has there been such a discrepancy in the figures put forth by unions and the government on how many people participated in strike action.
