AFP - Conflict within the Bettencourt family is growing once again, after L'Oreal heiress Liliane Bettencourt announced on Sunday that she is considering taking legal action against her daughter for "harassment", according to a handwritten statement.

"I hear yet again from the press that my daughter would appear before a judge of guardianships to appoint a receiver to replace my asset manager," said Ms. Bettencourt.

"I can not accept this harassment, or the fact that it spoils the image of L'Oreal through me or our family," she said in a hand-written statement on headed paper of a large hotel in New York.

"So I instructed my lawyer Mr Wilhelm to take the necessary measures to deal with this harassment," says Ms. Bettencourt.

"We will proceed through all possible channels, civil or criminal proceedings, to end what Ms. Bettencourt considers to be harassment by her daughter," Mr. Pascal Wilhelm told AFP.

Mrs. Bettencourt

Mrs. Bettencourt is within her rights and her daughter should be ashamed missing these years where she and her monther could be together in a great family. All the best to Mrs. Bettencourt from Texas.

Family

What a sad story this is. For a mother and daughter to resort to lawyers to resolve their differences.
Hopefully they will resolve their differences themselves by talking and may they one day be as rich in love and happiness as they are in money.
