What happened to Ben Barka?

Moroccan opposition figure Medhi Ben Barka went missing in 1965 after reportedly meeting two French agents in Paris but his body was never found, and the question of what exactly happened to him has never been answered. October 17 1961 saw a deadly crackdown on Algerian pro-independence protesters on the streets of Paris. France 24 goes to meet those who witnessed the day's events first-hand. And in Algeria we look at new efforts from the country's press to ensure editorial independence.
