Millions of Catholics around the world were left trying to fathom the pope’s position after Benedict 16th said that in some cases, the use of condoms could be justified. Just last year his holiness said condoms could actually be exacerbating the HIV epidemic in Africa and the only way to curb infection was via abstinence and fidelity. Does this turnaround mean the Catholic Church is finally going soft on condoms?

There's no other way to call it: Barack Obama has suffered the political equivalent of a bloody nose. Tonight, he’s coming to terms with the biggest political upset of his career. In their biggest congressional victory in 62 years, Republicans have won control of the House of Representatives, and made gains in the Senate as well. There's nothing left for the president to do but to hold out the olive branch.

contraception!

Maybe 'GOING SOFT' could be a form of contraception, after all, it takes something rather rigid to ensure contraception for most normal people, perhaps there are drugs available that act directly opposite to Viagra, the use of which could ensure that those who feel the urge can prevent conception by failing to rise to the occasion..
