The right-wing newspaper Le Figaro reports about “The big reconciliation”.
Liliane Bettencourt and her daughter Françoise have finally decided to make peace. They reportedly signed a deal and dropped all lawsuits.
 
On the other hand, the left-wing daily Libération describes the case as a “Christmas bed time story”. According to the Christian newspaper La Croix, the reputation and the future of the cosmetics giant L’Oreal was at stake.
 
In other news, L’Humanité reports about a scandal at job centres.
