Laurent Gbagbo and French socialists
Two presidents, two prime ministers and one country - a power struggle continues in Ivory Coast. Most of the international community is calling on incumbent Laurent Gbagbo to step down, yet he still has some supporters here. We bring you a report from Southern Sudan as its people prepareto vote in a referendum that could lead to the birth of a new nation in Africa - or plunge the region back into conflict. Cote d'Ivoire politics
What is omitted from all main stream western News, is the political persuasion of the contestants. Whenever I read, who the international community is backing, I look to see who is the socialist--I am seldom wrong. The capitalist international corporations are always steering a useful idiot to unseat someone who blocks their way to valuable resources. Let the whole of Africa debate its affairs without loaded international supervision. Good luck to the Ivoirian workers and stability and justice to Gbabo led government.
