South Sudan: challenging times
After 20 years of civil war between the north and the south, South Sudan’s dream of independence is finally within reach. If, as expected, the "yes" vote wins in the recent referendum, the people of South Sudan could finally regain control of their destinies. But in this region dependent on international subsidies and made up of many different ethnic groups, the path towards a new state remains challenging.

South Sudan
I agree anything to stop the killing. But, isn't it also polarising Sudan? Arabs in the north, Blacks in the south? This reads as integration is a total failure. Then, what is the south going to do with independence? They are so broke they won't even have money to buy sand. Become independent of other nations for food and money? Show me a single African nation that is a success without aid. I swear, sometimes colonization was better, if only the European conquerors werent so damned greedy and prejudiced!
peace
is good for the peace.
I hope they will be independent
I hope one day they gonna make it.
the new sudan
