Live blog: Celebrations and protests as Arab world reacts to post-Mubarak era

Egypt celebrated Saturday the first real prospect of democracy in 30 years following President Hosni Mubarak's resignation on Friday. Meanwhile, Algeria braced for a pro-democracy rally planned in defiance of an official ban.
