This week our fashion reporter Jessica Michault is going to be telling us about the latest trends in the luxury watch industry. Last month she went to the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva and the big story at the salon was that slim is definitely in.

Also cobbler Chihiro Yamagachi, who is renowned in his native Japan for his bespoke shoes, is starting to look for a foot hold in Europe. He recently showed off a selection of his works in an Art gallery here in Paris.

Cannes International Film Festival 2012 - 'You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet'

A glittering cast is assembled for the 65th Cannes Film Festival, which gets underway in the south of France today. Among those expected on the red carpet are Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, Marion Cotillard, Nicole Kidman, Robert Pattinson, Brad Pitt, Reece Witherspoon and Kristen Stewart. A total of 22 films will compete for the coveted top prize, the Palme D’Or, including "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet" by France's Alain Resnais.
