Saif al-Islam Gaddafi

Saïf has a Western education with a doctorate from the London School of Economics. On February 20, Saïf appeared on TV to address the issue growing unrest in Libya. He promised reforms, but also blamed tribal divisions and Islamists for the uprising and warned of the civil war that could result.

Saïf al-Arab Gaddafi: There is little information available about Saïf al-Arab, aside from a 2008 Daily Telegraph article reporting that his car had been confiscated by German police because of noisy exhaust. He was thought to be a student in Munich at the time of the incident.

: Muammar’s adopted son and nephew is credited with saving his life during the US bombing of the Gaddafi compound in 1986 when Gaddafi lost his 15-month-old daughter Hannah.

Any parents?

I have never heard anything about Gaddafi's parents.

A rumor is that he is the son of an Italian soldier and a Jewish Libyan woman, and was raised as an orphan by the local Catholic church.

It is an unusual rumor, but it is difficult to confirm anything about his upbringing except that he is from Sirte.

gaddafi

remember that what goes around surely comes around. americans trained bin laden and we all know what happened to them. u guys are helping to train these rebels too. the future is inevitable. u babylon are full of bad ways and bad decisions. u have continuously sowed seeds of bitterness and hatredness amongst us, africans and we think u r gonna get away with that. all u know is to make weapons and amunitions, so that u can silence who ever resist your oppression. fire burn u sarkozy, fire burn u merkel, and all dems nato fighters.. ur time will surely come.. it's just around the corner..very soon u will know where power lies...

Nato out of libya

Gaddafi never give up fight upto the end they are after your oil

Europe Allow Africa ALone

Why must european countries always intrude in african matters?

OIL WAR

The western world stop killing africa because of its resources.
Are you fighting an oil war? You are being extreme under the cover of democracy. The world is watching! better stop.

The libyan bombardment

Oh my God another Iraq in the making! We were told all thru the air raids over Baghdadi that they were destroying weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and the whole world was like hey, US boys you're doing the peace loving globans a nice job. But upto present day when the asernals are turned onto Libya no one has come to prove they even found a library script detailing a grand plan to make later alone purchase the alleged weapons of mass probably oil exploitation , sorry domination.Post Saddam Iraq is by all standards a regretable sorry state that I'm sure any sane Iraq is ashamed of if he ever supported US involvement in ousting 'dictator'Saddam. Couldn't this have been enough lesson to the Libyans that the involvent of US, NATO or even UN after all the thin line between all these agencies is cemented by the superpowers exploitative interests and whoever stands in their way will be a terrorist, dictator, own weapons of mass destruction and ultimately a legitimate target for destruction using weopons of total destruction if it were different from the mass destruction they pretend to look for! if shame was in shelves of these philantropists the Libyan air raids and subsequent killings, destruction of all development should have been avoided. Can the UN pass posthumancely a resolution to have a no fly zone in Uganda, didn't Amin and Obote kill more civillians under the supervision of British military teams and American skills and equipment. Cry, cry Africa for as long as you remain economically weak, militarily dependent and ideologically clogged your soverignity will always be the sacrificial lamb at the altar of US and all allies' exploitative ventures. Libya will never be the same after Gaddafi and it will not be long when the Libyans gnash in abject poverty as all they have has been destroyed in air bombardments by 'saviours'raining bombs on cities, airports, rail lines, bridges, schools, refineries and any development their bombs can reach.By the way was Habyarimana who killed 800,000 innocent Tutsis removed by UN resolutions and bombardments? Or were the Tutsis less mortors who didn't meet UN description of innocent civillians? Libyan rebels your cause not withstanding, the involvement of the mercinery like UN or US marines is a sell out posterity will blame on your shoulders.

hi

First of all I want to give greeting to all who concerns that I sent to you.As I see in libya there is hard uprest tha can loss living of many people of the country. If the uprest was continued ther are an other additional loss in the peoples. So I want to say to Gaddafi he must to disspos his authority inorder to save the livies of the people and as much as to save his life and his family. He must to use clear and fair way to continue in his power.Anless otherways it is unlawfull to do that and it leds to very heany distraction of the countrys property. So give atention to this problem and be struggle the yuth for thier mother country to make it clear from the uprest.Thank you!bye

tyrants

those who rule by the sword go by the sword

libyan crisis

It is unfortunate that African leaders still bath in the euphoria of dictatorship in the face of the ongoing democratization wave affecting the entire globe. The United Nations is not actually living up to its responsibilities of safeguarding the world citizens and maintaining world peace. UN has been deliberating on imposing no-fly-zone in Libya for barely one month now.Is it when all the defenseless innocent Libyan citizens are reduced to corpses exposed to the scavengers that the UN will intervene? This is quite unfortunate. This is a clear indication that the UN is biased in the discharge of its statutory responsibilities. This spells doom for the entire world.

Libyan Crisis

Gaddafi must go ,he make acrime

Gaddafi a free mancing, a cultist

he is nothing and he must go... Gaddafi must gooooooooooooooo

gaddaffi

i think the guy shld quit. The whole world is against him and he's slowly becoming powerless

Gaddafi a disgrace

Gaddafi has shown absolute rage on his people and should not be treated with mercy as he himself has not shown thus on his own fellow people. He stands this day a tyrant who has decapitated and disemboweld helpless people who could no longer accept his bondage. His son has also eaten his father 's saliva and should also stand trial for the atrocities he and his father have perpetrated on the people of Libya. I support the idea that this tyrant be taken to the Hague and furthermore propose that such a man should meet the fateful ruthless demise for his actions.
