Arab awakening: so where is the Islamist threat?

Arab nationalist regimes are falling in Tunisia, Egypt, and Libya, but what will replace them? Will democracy open the way for Islamists to take power? Or do these uprisings, which are being led by the "post-Islamist generation", signal the decline of political Islam? Is the Islamist threat being overstated?

Programme presented by Annette Young and prepared by Pauline Heilmann and Diaraye Bah.

Featuring Hall Gardner, Professor and Chair of the Department of International and Comparative Politics at the American University of Paris, and Ramin Pahram, Iranian writer and dissident.
