Libya-G8: too little, too late?

In recent weeks, the international community was primed to think that the noose was tightening around the neck of Libyan leader colonel Gaddafi. But in fact, as one analyst wrote in the New York Times, it is tightening instead around the Libyan rebels. This as Gaddafi makes the most of the world’s dithering and steadily retakes rebel-held towns.
