What is the United States up to in Libya? After allowing France and the United Kingdom to take the lead in the military operation, the Obama administration announced that it would reduce its military involvement. As an example of the hands-off approach, Obama himself went to Latin America, but is facing opposition in Congress because he did not ask for lawmakers’ approval before opening fire on Gaddafi’s regime.
