A car bomb killed a 25-year-old police officer in Omagh, police said Saturday, the first deadly attack in two years on Northern Ireland security forces.
AP - A 25-year-old Catholic policeman who had just joined Northern Ireland’s police force was killed Saturday when a booby-trap bomb exploded as he got into his car in the town of Omagh, police and neighbors said.
