Italian PM visits Tunisia to stop Lampedusa landings

Italy has offered to help patrol Tunisia's borders in a bid to stop a massive influx of illegal immigrants on the small Italian island of Lampedusa. Former Tunisian president Ben Ali had clamped down on the people smugglers operating between his country and Europe, but that agreement has fallen by the wayside since he was ousted in January.
